A statement from Dr. Holt:

“I started my education in the military and at Laverne University, concentrating on criminology and the law. In the military I was put in charge of restructuring the legal department at Helicopter Squadron #4. I loved this work and was awarded a Navy Commendation. Later I was appointed as the command drug and alcohol counselor and started to empower people to take control of their lives in the early 80’s. As I started to gain more interest into medicine and how the mind works and I remember taking criminology, sociology, and psychology all in the same semester. Each class would teach me a different aspect on how to view behavior and I thought that something is missing here. Later I discovered that the purpose of education was to teach you how to come up with your own views and not necessarily to follow past teachings. The big change in my life happened after a car accident when I suffered brain damage. I lost my ability to gather words and passed a test for senility which was a big blow on who I was internally. Think about this for a second – I was told that I was senile in my 30’s and that I would never gain my full mental ability again. If western medicine was saying this I needed to look at other ways of looking at my challenge. I continued my education traveling around the world, studying Alternative and Holistic Medicine. I did not recover to become who I was before the accident I became a new person.”

Michael is a certified Hypnotherapy Instructor as well as a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming. He has been allowed to study Qigong for healing as well as other eastern practices. He is an international speaker and presenter for many Alternative Health Care Organizations and is considered an expert in weight loss, attention deficit disorder, pain management, medical and dental hypnotherapy, and behavioral change.

Michael was involved in developing the technical training for internet companies like America Online, AT&T Worldnet, GTE (both their Internet and CLEC Divisions) and Covad Communications.  Michael’s years of experience in managing and training in the corporate sector as well as individuals has given him the ability to create a precision approach to assist people in reaching their goals.  His expertise allows him to locate not only buried hindrances but also to unlock untapped potential.

This subtle yet powerful approach has touched many peoples’ lives bringing them astounding success. In 2006 Dr. Holt received the International Hypnosis Federation’s “Award of Excellence” for his work in the Alternative Health Care Field.
