The guild grants membership on an individual basis. You will have all
the educational
requirements (100 hours) met after the first two levels are completed
for the Guild.
*50 hours approved for CE's by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, Registered Nursing Association, Acupuncture Board and Hypnosis Organizations. Home study hours are required for certification in some cases.

Complete a level in 3 days if you have the time or take up to 3 months.
The first three levels is a 9 month college course that we can tailor to your schedule.

Course 1: Basic Training
Become an IHF Certified Hypnotist (CH)
The Basic (or beginning) course contains the same course syllabus taught at several colleges, and covers the following chapters as lessons:

BASIC Class 3: The Six Basic Induction Types (Part I)

BASIC Class 7: Post‑hypnotic Suggestion

BASIC EXAM (Class 10)
The BASIC HYPNOSIS class is designed to help the student of hypnotism develop the following skills:
· To artfully utilize suggestibility tests to help prepare a client for hypnosis.
· To induce the hypnotic state (with numerous techniques to use), and to properly awaken.
· To deepen the hypnotic state and identify the various levels of hypnosis.
· To use hypnotic testing (convincers) to help a client believe he/she is in hypnosis.
· To use self‑hypnosis for stress management.
· To learn some basic guidelines for suggestion structure, including the proper use of post‑hypnotic suggestions.
· To understand basic legal/ethical issues surrounding the use of hypnotism.
· To practice, in order to develop confidence and competence with the art.
· To pass a written exam before learning how to apply hypnotic techniques for therapeutic purposes.

The objective of the INTERMEDIATE Hypnotherapy course is to teach the hypnotherapy. To teach you how to apply those techniques learned in Basic Hypnosis for habit control, self‑improvement, and motivation. More specific objectives include:
· Handling the pre‑induction interview.
· Learning the importance of the four hypnotherapeutic steps to facilitate change.
· How to use the "Benefits Approach" for motivation and habit control.
· When to use client‑centered techniques to discover causes of problems.
· How to facilitate release.
· How to enable subconscious relearning.
· When to employ suggestion, imagery, and other rapid change techniques.
· When and how to facilitate hypnotic regressions.
· How to reduce the risk of false memories during hypnotic regressions.
· When and how to facilitate abreactions.

The primary purpose of the third part of Diversified Client‑Centered Hypnosis is to help prepare the students for their ongoing journey into the hypnotherapy profession. Its objectives are to expose students to the use of hypnotherapy in specialty areas. Student objectives are to:
· Use another application of hypnotic regression to improve confidence and self‑esteem for peak performance.
· Master parts therapy with confidence and competence.
· Explore a profoundly effective hypnotherapy session facilitated by Charles Tebbetts, which combined parts therapy and regression therapy.
· Increase confidence and competence with hypnotherapy.
· Explore a Motivation Mapping technique.
· Learn to use pain management hypnosis for clients with a medical referral.
· Explore other advanced techniques.
· Complete their practicum requirement prior to hypnotherapy certification.
· Prepare for successful completion of the written hypnotherapy examination.
